As a creative and spunky stylist, I can’t picture another career path more suited to myself. I have always loved all things beauty and fashion related. Spending the first 21 years of my life living in Lake Country before moving to Milwaukee, I learned from a very early age that my personal sense of style wasn’t always “the norm.” I’m a 2000 baby with heavy 90’s influence from my older brother, sister, and cousins. I also attended high school during the ‘2016 eyebrows‘ era… There were some very unique trends to combine and have fun with all along the way!
Pair a unique sense of style with the fact that my mom’s best friend was our hairdresser growing up. This made every hair appointment into a special event to feel pampered and visit one of our favorite people, Peggy. Every season of my personal style can be easily pinpointed by its matching unique haircut or color, delivered expertly by Peggy’s magical ability to flawlessly execute any haircut photo I showed her.
Between my mom, my sister, and myself, we would stay there all day long, and I loved it.
While my mom’s color would process and my older sister got her haircut, I would sweep hair for the stylists in the salon or fold towels. Sometimes, Peggy would let me help her mix up hair color, or make coffee for the salon’s other guests.
I remember so vividly what it felt like as a young girl to surrender my senses to the electric energy of Peggy’s hair salon. The sound of the hair dryers blowing, while people laughed loudly over them as music played through the speakers. The smells of fresh hair color and shampoo, of hairspray and of a new pot of coffee brewing. The energy exuded by these remarkable grown women, armed with perfume, and unchipped manicures, and a fresh blowout to seal the deal. Absolutely nothing could stop them from taking on the world. I let all of it whisk me away into blissful “cool-girl” oblivion, while I fantasized about what kind of badass grown woman I would be one day.
Now, I am thrilled to say that truly all of my life has led me to this path. I started beauty school 2 months after graduating high school, and never looked back. I now realize that the women receiving services in my salon growing up were the same kind of people I am lucky enough to provide services for today. That “I’m unstoppable,” energy from a good hair day is a privilege and a gift. One I am so proud to provide. I am thrilled every day to call myself a hairdresser, and cannot have pictured a more fitting, passion focused career for myself.

Meet Your Hairstylist Extraordinaire
a few fun facts
Some of my hairdressing began in the theater! In high school, I spent most of my time off stage painting people’s faces to look elderly, or like a witch, or styling seemingly ancient wigs with an ungodly amount of Aquanet. (Yes! Aquanet!) Before that came the slicked back buns and fabulous stage makeup, accompanied by sequin and rhinestone costumes for the competition dance teams of my youth.
When it comes to hair, I’ve tried it all on myself first! Red, blonde, highlights, jet black, pixie cuts, bobs, I’ve even shaved my head! When it comes down to what my clients want, I don’t want a request to feel unfamiliar to me. My chair is a 100% judgment-free zone, made for working together with my clients to achieve their hair goals, including gender affirming haircuts or colors.
I live for the fall and all things Halloween. I’m an October birthday, what can I say? Dressing up is one of my favorite things in the world - I am a total sucker for any kind of themed party or costume! Any excuse to do full blown costumes and face paint, seriously count me in.
I love to cook! While I don’t always find as much time as I’d like to be in the kitchen, trying new recipes or cooking classic favorites and watching others enjoy something you’ve put your labor of love into will never get old. We can chat about your favorite recipes when you’re in my chair!
